We got great amazing guides for all included tours. Our drivers were always ready waiting for us at the airports. A very logicial itinerary with our personalized requests. We are a sixty year old couple, and earlier this year, we had a wonderful, stress-free three week holiday in Cambodia; well planned by Indochina Treks, and executed with comfort thanks to Kelvin and the team he chose. The memorable trip starting in Phnom Penh in Kandal to Kratie; then took us to Mondulkiri and Ratanikri; next to Stung Treng and Preah Vihear; eventually to Siem Reap and Battambang, and thereafter to Preah Sihanouk to get the boat for a relaxing few days in Koh Rong; and finally to Kampot and Kep. Our driver Yem, ever so patient, reliable and polite, attentively and comfortably drove us well over two thousand kilometres through most of the provinces enjoying the splendid natural attractions, and when he was not too busy behind the wheel, caringly kept a distant watchful eye over us. Our guides – Kakada and Narin, apart from speaking excellent English, were both, very knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to their jobs. The guides, experiencing what was really pleasing us during the actual trip, were mindful to be flexible and make any necessary small changes to an already excellent plan, to ensure that we got the utmost from this holiday. Throughout the whole trip, we never found the need to refer to, or use the emergency number provided by Kelvin Do at Indochina Treks. The hotels and resorts chosen throughout our trip were all of excellent standard and suited our needs perfectly. Cambodia, a country full of mixed history, appetising cuisine and colourful sights of lush jungles and the most amazing temples enriched by a people who live a simple life and are always ready to help and greet you with a smile; was a most beautiful experience, thanks to excellent team chosen by Kelvin, who took care of all our needs throughout our holiday. The cabin had just about everything you would need but (if I’m being fussy!) no full length mirror and no USB charging points. Comfortable bed, nice linen, well equipped bathroom. The staff were fabulous! Very accommodating and extremely helpful! The food was excellent but there was far too much, a sit down 5 course lunch is excessive. A help yourself buffet would be more than enough. Nice breakfast with eggs cooked to your taste. Really well organised activities. Didn’t use the spa unfortunately. A criticism would be the very poor Wi-Fi - in 2024 a reliable signal is crucial. We needed to keep in touch with the UK, Europe and the US and it was tricky. Another point is that I really think it would be far more sociable to have some ‘sharing’ tables of 4 or 6, we found ourselves chatting away before dinner with a drink with others and then hurried off to your table of 2. We needed to cancel for medical reasons. We were only entitled to 25% of our money back - fair enough, we should have taken out insurance but took the risk. They took their time getting us our refund. Three days after they issued our 25% refund, they informed the rest of our group (who didn't cancel) that the entire cruise had been canceled (some paperwork / remodeling problem unrelated to booking levels) - leaving them scrambling to make alternate arrangements. Since they cancelled the cruise, and didn't lose money due to my cancellation, I felt it was appropriate to refund the full amount. They felt differently, and decided to keep my money - and offer a "20% discount for a future cruise" (like I would ever work with them again). Go with an honest company - which is definitely NOT Heritage Line. read less

Firstly the staff on board The Jahan were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, they made our 7 night stay travelling up the Mekong extremely enjoyable and memorable. The Jahan is a fabulous ship, the best way ever to have travelled from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap. Our deluxe cabin was so comfortable, large bed, sitting room to the side, large bathroom with walk in shower and reasonable sized balcony. Every night the staff would leave a little gift when doing the turndown service for the night which was a lovely touch. Our room was also beautiful decorated especially for our anniversary celebration which was very much appreciated. The food on the ship was superb, both breakfast & lunch buffet style and dinner a sit down alcarte service. The excursions were plentiful, daily offerings with something different each day and we were given so many opportunities to try different forms of transportation with each excursion. The tour guides were also excellent, their knowledge outstanding!Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for something special and memorable to book a trip on The Jahan. read less
